– 1 cup honey

Preparation;
1. Mix honey, soy sauce, and garlic powder in a bowl until well combined.
2. Put chicken pieces in a large Ziploc bag and pour the liquid over them to cover them completely. Allow marinating in the refrigerator overnight or for at least 6 hours (preferably 12).
3. Remove from fridge 30 minutes before you begin cooking dinner. Remove chicken pieces from the bag (discard marinade) and pan fry with the olive oil of your choice on medium heat for 15-20 minutes on each side (flipping once). Ensure that the juices run clear when pierced with a fork!

Ingredients;
– 1lb chicken breast cut into cubes
– 1 -1/2 cup dry penne pasta or other small pasta shapes
– 2 tbsp olive oil
– 3 garlic cloves crushed
– 400g diced tomatoes (can)
– 2 tbsp tomato paste
– 1 tbsp basil (fresh or dried)
Preparation; Cooking the chicken:
1. Cut the chicken into cubes and season with salt and pepper.
2. Heat oil in a pan over medium-high heat, then add garlic cloves to the pan. Cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant, then add the seasoned chicken pieces to the pan, cooking for about 8 minutes on each side until browned all around. Remove from pan and set aside.
3. In a separate pan, bring water to a boil and cook the pasta according to the instructions on the packet. Drain and set aside.
4. Combine tomatoes, tomato paste, basil, and diced tomatoes in the slow cooker. Mix well so that all ingredients are combined evenly.
5. Add chicken pieces and mix thoroughly (ensure that chicken pieces are covered by liquid).
6. Cover and cook on low for 4 hours or until chicken is tender enough to be pulled apart with a fork (no pink bits inside)
7. Plate pasta first, then top with 1/2 cup of sauce from the crockpot (this will ensure your plate is packed with flavor!)

– 2lb bone-in chicken pieces (breasts or thighs or leg quarters)

1. Skin the chicken pieces if necessary and lay them in a 9×13 glass baking dish. In a separate bowl, mix pepper jelly, ginger, lemon juice, and water. – 1/4 tsp garlic powder
– 1 tbsp cumin
– 2 tbsp chili powder
– 1 can (15oz) dark red kidney beans, drained & rinsed
– 4 cups cooked rice or pasta
Preparation;
1. Add the water, tomato sauce, and chopped tomatoes into a slow cooker. Stir in chicken mince, then add remaining ingredients (spices except for salt). Stir again until all ingredients are mixed well.
2. Cover and cook on low setting for 6 hours or high for 3 hours. After cooking has finished, add salt to taste.
